Major Changes to Fruity Fruit Pack

Hiya Everyone, it's me again, Daren!

Yap Session

Sorry for being inactive for more than 2 months now, I was busy with school and so much other personal stuff, (yes, I'm a student, I still go to school, not important). though, one of the reasons why this update took so long is because I just decided to take a break, the first update when I added more fruits was actually worked on right after I published this pack, I was soooo dedicated to work on this project. 2 weeks later, the update was done and ready to publish, after that, I published the update. and then I was thinking: "hmm... maybe I need to take a break for a week or two" so I decided to do that. turns out, it's not 2 weeks, its 2 months, 2 WHOLE MONTHS, and here we are now.

Who cares about my life, you came here for this pack, this is what you care about. anyway, as you might notice, the name of the pack is now "Fruity N Vegs - Food Pack" and as the name suggest, this pack now include veggies too. the reason I added vegetables is because of tomato. yes, a tomato, tell me, is tomato a fruit? you might say well it technically is, but have you heard someone said that their favorite fruit is a tomato? of course not (if your answer is yes, you might wanna check on that person jk). the problem is, even if tomato a fruit, it's not a fruit fruit, its works more like a vegetable, being added to your cooking recipe to enhance the flavor or other stuff that's not usually how you "utilize" a fruit. that's a dilemma don't you think? its technically a fruit but should I include it to the pack? how about its veggie friends like carrot and potato? you know what, screw it. its fruits + vegetables pack now.

The Update

  • Renaming the pack from "Fruity fruit pack" to "Fruity's & Veg's - Food Pack"
  • Small revamps for handful of fruits
  • Updated Page looks
  • Added 10 vegetables (some are technically fruit) being:
    1. Tomato: x3 sprites (include 2 variant)
    2. Cherry Tomato: x2 sprites (Include 2 variant)
    3. Potato: x3 sprites
    4. Carrot: x3 sprites
    5. Chili: x2 sprites (Includes 3 variant)
    6. Red Onion: x4 Sprites
    7. Garlic: x3 sprites
    8. Onion: x3 sprites
    9. Broccoli: x1 sprite
    10. Pumpkin: x3 sprite

Behind The Scenes

Well, who says making an asset project is a smooth ride? in reality, there's bunch of stuff that's took many, many, many, many tries to get right. example? look at this picture of the red onion, it took THAT much of tries to get right (or this happened because I'm just suck).

Whatever the cause is, it's not fun at all. and there's garlic, garlic took a single try to look good, I will never ever able to recreate that random 10/10 most realistic yet so simple drawing of a garden crop ever again, all of my skill just went to that single garlic.
